Legion Run is an up to 5km team-oriented run with 20+ obstacles of mud, fire, ice and barbed wire, held in different countries around the globe. The events are the ultimate opportunity for the people to challenge their physical and mental limits, and share some epic moments with friends, co-workers or family. It is not a race and it is not a competition against others. Just pure wicked fun for grown-ups!
The Challenge
After the successful organization of Legion Run Cyprus in 2018, Legion Run has approached Consultics for a second year in order to host and organize Legion Run Cyprus 2019. The challenge was accepted with pleasure by our company. Consultics was responsible for the whole organization of the event starting from Planning, Project Management, Research, Implementation and Control. Some of the most important components of the event, that Consultics took control of, are the Sponsorship Recruitment, Media Promotion, Ticket Sales, Customer Service, Operations, Creatives Design, etc.
The Concept
Legion Run Cyprus was hosted at Palais Des Sports ‘Spyros Kyprianou’ in Limassol, on 13th April 2019. Official Partner of the event was K Cineplex and Media Sponsors were Super FM and City.com.cy. The event was sponsored by Cyprus Tourism Organization, Deputy Ministry of Tourism, Cablenet, Hell Energy Drink, Perskindol, Ayios Nikolaos Waters, KEO beer. The Food Vendor of the event is Fork Market Company – Top Dog and Road Buns. More than 2000 people of all ages have joined Legion Run in order to challenge their selves, test their limits, strengths and live an once in a lifetime team working experience. More than 500 spectators have joined as well to enjoy live DJ music, food and drinks in Festival Area. This year, we also has the Legion Kids Area with customized obstacles for kids so that all family members could become Legion. Consultics has managed the former footballer Constantinos Charalambides to be the Brand Ambassador of the event. He was there on April 13th with his own team, joining Legion Run and encouraging all participants!
The Outcome
Consultics team worked together based on creativity and professionalism, contributing to an amazing event. We received only but positive feedback for the whole experience with most of the participants promising to join again next year for accepting a new Legion Run challenge.
